What is Super 8?

Super 8 is a type of film that first came out in the 1960s and quickly became the way people documented life’s sweetest moments from family gatherings to travel adventures. 

What makes it so special is the dreamy, vintage look it creates. The grain, the soft colors, and even the little light flares all add up to something that feels more like a memory than just a video. It has that timeless, nostalgic quality that makes watching it back feel like stepping right into the past.

Why Super 8?

I’ve always loved the feeling of nostalgia and how memories can bring you right back to the moments that made life feel full and real. That’s what draws me to Super 8. It’s raw, a little imperfect, and completely honest. It captures the unposed, fleeting moments that make your day yours. When you watch it back, it doesn’t feel like a film. It feels like a memory—soft and timeless—one you’ll want to relive again and again.

Can I have both iPhone content & Super 8?

Yes! While I do offer Super 8 film on its own, I’ve also created hybrid packages so you can enjoy both iPhone and Super 8 coverage — a mix of modern and vintage that captures every angle of your day. You can click here to view package details and pricing.

Is Super 8 digital or actual film?

Super 8 is filmed on real Kodak film stock using a Canon 814 AZ Super 8 camera. Each roll is developed and professionally scanned so you receive a digital version, but the texture and grain come straight from the film itself. That’s what gives it that dreamy, nostalgic feel everyone loves.

How will I get my video?

Just like your iPhone content, you’ll receive all clips and edits in a Dropbox folder for easy viewing and downloading. Super 8 film takes about 3–6 weeks to be developed and scanned, then I personally color grade and edit it into a short highlight film that tells your story in the most timeless way.

Seriously!!! I feel so lucky to have found Gabri so last minute and that she was available! She was such an amazing presence to have around on wedding morning and she worked seamlessly alongside my photographers! So much so that they even recommended her on their page :) It was sooo nice being able to relive the day right after it happened. There’s so many little moments you miss as a bride and having Gabri there to catch them all was really such a blessing.

If you get anything for your wedding day…GET THE CONTENT CREATOR!!! Not only was Gabri so sweet and fun but she provided us with a lifetime of memories to relive over and over again.
